Breakdown: When you are playing in New York there’s a lot of pressure for you to succeed especially when you’re a point guard. But Love was one of our first features on this site and he continues to look the pressure in the face. The talented floor general took his play on the road this spring and summer and put in work. He made numerous stops with New Heights on the circuit and made some personal appearances at elite camps. Love’s game has a lot of flash and substance.

2K Sports has announced that you can now purchase individual songs from the soundtrack by visiting the 2K Beats channel.

“Every year our NBA 2K soundtrack features music innovators that push boundaries in the same way our franchise does,” said Tim Rosa, director of brand and lifestyle marketing at 2K Sports. “With NBA 2K9 we’re continuing the tradition with The Cool Kids representing our deepest music integration. They will appear in the game’s NBA Blacktop streetball mode, will perform on the 2K Sports Bounce Tour, and they recorded an original song which we’re giving away for free on the 2K Sports website.”

NBA 2K9 is now available in stores and retails for $59.99.

Streetball Legends like The Future, Black Widow, Baby Shak and JFK to name a few. The Houston Takers are really planning to make an impact this season and so Larry Leonard decided to shedule this preseason game against the best. The Houston Takers are an American Basketball Association (ABA) team in Sugar Land, Texas.

“I’m wanting to pushing the envelope in bringing in the best in what they do on the court in the streets. I’m really looking forward to the game and it should truly tell you what kind of season we are planning to have. Tickets will only be $20 and we will donate 10% to a Hurricane Ike foundation,” states Leonard.

The game is to be played on November 15, 2008.
