Streetball started from nothing. In the beginning we were just a handful. Nowaday’s, it’s so packed that you got people climbing on trees to watch the show. It’s like a night club now…soon you’ll have to be VIP to get in.

To me, it’s bigger than sports: it’s a movement. It also shows that black and white folks can organize big events in a very professional manner. It really makes me proud…and I’ll always be here to support that. It’s proof that you can come from the hood and still achieve. As long as you have the will for it. Now that’s streetball.
