Sullinger is Ohio’s reigning “Mr. Basketball.”

Jared Sullinger will be staying in his home state and will be attending Ohio State University next fall.

High School Basketball Rankings

The high school basketball season of 2009-10 has seen some incredible teams thus far.  Here are the latest High School Basketball Rankings.  Yates is home to 1,200 students, 89 percent of whom qualify for free or reduced lunches. The school landed on the state’s “academically unacceptable” list in 2006 but worked its way off the next year and has maintained an “acceptable” rating since.

Wally Judge is a 6-9, 220 pound high school senior that will play basketball at Kansas State next year. He is a 2009 McDonald’s All-American and is one of the Top 30 high school basketball players in the Class of 2009. Wally Judge is from Jacksonville,Fl.

Wally Judge: “I picked K-State because when I went out there I just felt like I was at home. Like I just fit in and they had been after me from day one and they stayed loyal.”

Lance Stephenson is one of the best basketball preps in the class of 2009.  He plays hoops for Lincoln High School in New York.  Lance Stephenson is a 6-5, 195 pound senior forward that in most hoops recruiting magazines and websites is ranked the Number 1 basketball prospect of 2009.
