The Cleveland Cavaliers are trading for a title. Antawn Jamison and Sebastian Telfair are headed to the Cleveland Cavaliers for Zydrunas Ilgauskas. Jamison would provide the Cleveland Cavaliers with another scoring threat to complement LeBron James.

Nike basketball recently released its new “midseason” campaign that features custom sneakers for the NBA All-Star game. The most searched players on the internet get custom sneakers and the rest get generic Hyperize sneakers in a different color.

The line up of NBA All-Star sneakers from Nike feature the Kobe Bryant Zoom V, Lebron VII and the new KD II sneakers.

The NBA All-Star game features the best basketball players in the world.  The starters for the Western Conference and Eastern Conference were recently announced.

For the West, Kobe Bryant, Steve Nash, Carmelo Anthony, Tim Duncan and Amare Stoudemire are the starters.  The Eastern Conference team features Lebron James, Allen Iverson, Dwight Howard, Kevin Garnett and Dwyane Wade.  My prediction is that the West will win the game with Carmelo Anthony being named the MVP.

Allen Iverson NBA All-Star

Allen Iverson is one of the most popular players in the NBA. AI was recently picked to be a starter in the 2010 NBA All-Star game in Dallas, Tx. Iverson finished second among East guards with 1,269,568 votes. He will be joined in the backcourt by Miami’s Dwyane Wade (2,327,550). Orlando’s Vince Carter was third in the voting (1,048,977).

The remainder of the East starters are Cleveland’s LeBron James and Boston’s Kevin Garnett at the forwards and Orlando’s Dwight Howard at center.

“I just want to thank everybody for their support this season and it’s an honor that the fans have voted me into the All-Star Game as a starter,” Iverson said. “The fans are who make us and make the NBA so popular. This year is even more special because I’ll be representing a city and fans that I love and a team that has been such a big part of my life throughout my career.”

Iverson initially said that he would see how his ailing knee was feeling before determining whether to play in the All-Star Game, but he has backed off that stance.

He has been voted an All-Star starter for 11 consecutive seasons, and has appeared in 10 games. He did not play in 2007.

In his nine previous appearances, he has averaged 14.4 points and 6.2 assists. He was named MVP of the game in 2001 and 2005.

Iverson is averaging 14.8 points and 4.4 assists in 16 games with the Sixers. The team is 8-14 since he returned to Philly.
